5Love, love, love!
By Jennifer Marchesano
I just bought this car seat this week for my 10 month old. I had purchased the Graco MyRide 65, and before even installing it in my van, I returned it. It just didn't seem comfortable. I took my daughter to the store, put her in several, and this was the winner. It was so heavy and sturdy, and it has a ton of padding! Plus, at 27# and 31 inches, she is a big girl, and she fits great in this one. Many of the convertible seats are only rear facing up to 29 inches and 30 pounds. This one is rear facing up to 40 pounds and 40 inches. The straps are incredibly easy to adjust, and once they are on that upper slot, you only have to move the head rest up and down without even moving the straps. I love the feel of the seat insert for infants too. The seat was easy to install, and the two adjustments for rear facing and forward facing seem perfect. The fabric also looks very sturdy. I have never been so happy with a car seat, and this is my 4th baby.

5Glad we chose the Pria over the Britax
By Lady Stardust
The Pria70 is our second car seat for our son who is tall and heavy for his age group (22 pounds, 29 inches, 9 months). The Pria has been a complete success, and I'm so glad I waited until this one came out. I was interested in a previous M.C. model -- the Priori -- but kept reading comments on message boards about Prioris not being wonderful for large/tall children. The Pria has tons of extra room. I love the thickly padded seat, too. It is a substantial upgrade for us (we had a Graco Snugride 35 previously). The Maxi-Cosi fabric is smoother and wicks sweat away well. This was a selling point for me -- we live in a hot, humid climate and I did not like the sweaty poly-lined Britaxes available right now with the faux-velvet linings. They seemed way too hot for where we live.

Fit-to-car comments: the Pria70 fits our 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe with ample extra space. We have to move our front seats really far back because we're tall adults, so rear-facing install space was a chief concern. The Pria fit much better than another seat we tried in the Hyundai (it was an Evenflo Symphony 65, which barely squished in, rear-facing).

Other details that are very nice: sturdy clips that are easy enough for an adult to unfasten. Height is adjustable with the sliding headrest, no problems there. Cupholder -- love that! and the LATCH system integrates well. It comes with clips that snap in easily (or you can use your seatbelt to secure the seat, altenatively).

Finally -- and this was an important factor for me, personally -- Maxi Cosi seats generally rate cleaner on the toxic chemicals list than recent Britax convertibles ([...]). Although the Pria70 stats are not out yet, I was more comfortable with Maxi-Cosi's somewhat safer health rating than Britax's, regarding flame-retardents and other chemicals.

5Superb car seat!
By 5Areview
I wish this car seat had been available years ago. We have three kids, three cars and we have owned 12 different car seats. fortunately only one fo our kids uses a car seat any more! We could have simply bought three of these and be done with the routine of buying a new seat every few years as they grew out of their old seats. We used to favor Britax products for their sturdy feel and clever user-friendly designs. This seat beats Britax.

Fit:
- Excellent fit for a 5-year-old kid in the 99th percentile in height. I was surprised the seat has room to grow. We also transport younger kids too and it is easy to adjust the seat for 3 and 4-year-olds.

Comfort:
- It is the favorite car seat of our five year old. She makes us drive the car that has this seat.

Features:
- The best-designed cup holder of all car seats we have had. The top part of the cup holder is slightly flexible and keeps drinks in it much better than rigid designs. This may sound trivial, but avoiding spills is a huge benefit because spills create trip delays.
- Belts are well designed. They do not get tangled (as have our other car seat belts) and they lock with a solid feel
- Fast initial set up. Having struggled while adjusting other car seats, this one was quick to set up for the right initial belt positions. Headrest adjustment requires only a quick one-hand movement.

Price/ value:
- Can't beat the value. We have spent well over a $1,000 per child on car seats through six-years of age. This one seat would have covered the entire time period.
